Q. How do they select the Persian rugs?

It also depends on the clients taste: New or Antique. Different colors and much depends on where the rugs are made. The actual weaving of the rugs is a tedious process. Gabbeh rugs are village-type rugs made in the North part of Iran. They use a lot of vegetable dyes and vibrant earth tone colors. The Gabbeh is commonly seen among the Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai tribes of the Zagros mountains. It is one of the popular types of hand-woven Persian carpets that's made from wool and characterized by a mixture of different playful colors and geometric designs. Gabbeh rugs are often tinted with natural yellow and red plant dye. However, other solid shades are also used in these rugs and often, they are equally distributed in its body.
